In the later years of At Home, Arlene started doing more “message” episodes, where she would make a simple recipe, then spend the rest of the show sharing a special message that the Lord had put on her heart. Sometimes it was a personal testimony, other times it was Bible story, and sometimes it was a conversation with a friend whose life had been touched by God.
In this episode from 2012, Arlene makes a delicious bacon and cheese frittata, then shares a story from the Gospels of when Jesus healed a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years.
