Very Hot Buffalo Wings
These are HOT! Feel free to use less hot sauce for milder wings.
- 3 pounds chicken wings, cut into 3rds with tips discarded
- 1 bottle Louisiana style hot sauce (approx 6 oz)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 packages dry Italian dressing mix
- 1 tbsp dried basil
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place wings in single layer on sided baking sheet. Bake until browned about 25 to 30 minutes.
While wings are baking, combine rest of ingredients in a bowl. After wings are done, drain all drippings from pan and carefully dip each wing into the sauce mixture and place back into pan.
Bake again for about 25 minutes at 450 degrees. Remove from oven and let cool just enough to eat. These may be served with ranch dressing and celery sticks. The longer these wings sit after cooking, the hotter they will become. Enjoy!
