Gorgonzola and Honey Crostini

These crunchy little toasts are covered in melted Gorgonzola cheese and sweet honey.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French baguette bread
  • 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • honey (to taste, several tablespoons)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven broiler to 500 degrees. Slice baguette into 1/2-inch slices diagonally. Place on a baking sheet.
  • Watching closely, toast the plain bread under preheated broiler without burning it. Flip the pieces and toast the other sides.
  • Sprinkle slices with crumbled Golgonzola cheese and then drizzle with a little honey, to taste.
  • Place under broiler again and cook until cheese begins to melt, about 1 to 2 minutes. Serve immediately. Makes lots. Enjoy!
