Gorgonzola and Honey Crostini
These crunchy little toasts are covered in melted Gorgonzola cheese and sweet honey.
- 1 loaf French baguette bread
- 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- honey (to taste, several tablespoons)
Preheat oven broiler to 500 degrees. Slice baguette into 1/2-inch slices diagonally. Place on a baking sheet.
Watching closely, toast the plain bread under preheated broiler without burning it. Flip the pieces and toast the other sides.
Sprinkle slices with crumbled Golgonzola cheese and then drizzle with a little honey, to taste.
Place under broiler again and cook until cheese begins to melt, about 1 to 2 minutes. Serve immediately. Makes lots. Enjoy!
