Chocolate Chip Cheese Log
Inform your guests that this is a dessert cheese ball. Tastes like chocolate chip cheesecake!
- 1 pkg cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate morsels
- 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- chocolate graham crackers, chocolate wafer cookies, or honey graham crackers
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Mix in confectioners' sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in chocolate morsels. Carefully shape mixture into a log and wrap in waxed paper and then in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Roll cheese log in finely chopped pecans before serving. Place on serving dish and surround with crackers of your choice. Makes 8 servings. Enjoy!
