Broccoli Chicken Pasta

This dish is great when you're in a hurry for dinner and everyone's hungry. It only takes about 15 minutes.. and it's delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 bunch broccoli, cut into florets, cooked but still crisp
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 lb angel hair pasta, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, over medium-high heat, place oil and chicken breast pieces. Cook thoroughly until chicken is browned, but not dry. Remove chicken from skillet and add onion and garlic and cook until beginning to brown.
  • Add basil, Mrs. Dash, salt and pepper, cream cheese and milk and chicken broth to pan and turn heat down to medium low. Stir contents to blend well until cheese melts and forms a sauce. Add chicken.
  • Place pasta into serving bowl and pour sauce and chicken over pasta. Serve immediately. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Enjoy!
