Twinkie Treat
This dessert sounds crazy at first, but it is so much fun to make and eat!
- 2 boxes Twinkie cakes
- 1 box strawberry gelatin (6 serving pkg)
- 1 box vanilla instant pudding (6 serving pkg)
- 1 can strawberry pie filling (22 oz can)
- 1 container whipped topping (12 oz)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Line a 9 x 13-inch glass dish with the Twinkies, single layer, side by side.
Make gelatin according to directions on box. Pour over Twinkies in dish. Prepare the pudding mix according to directions on package. Pour pudding over the gelatin layer and spread to cover evenly. Spoon strawberry pie filling over the pudding layer and then layer whipped topping over strawberry layer. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
Chill at least 2 hours before serving. Keep leftovers refrigerated. Makes 12 to 16 servings. Enjoy!
