Baked Cheesy Sandwiches
These are like little grilled cheeses, wrapped up to go!
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (about 1 oz each)
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese (about 1 oz each)
- 1 Tbs butter, melted
- 1 Tbs sesame seeds OR grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Separate or cut dough into 4 long rectangles. Press perforations in the dough to seal edges. Place 1 slice of cheddar and 1 slice of mozzarella on one side of each of the 4 rectangles. Fold empty side of dough over top and press edges with a fork to seal the cheese inside.
Place sandwich pockets on an ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds or Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until dough is golden brown. Serve warm. Makes 4 sandwiches. Enjoy!
Note: You can also add deli lunchmeat to these sandwiches, too!
