Christmas Tree Rolls

Very impressive on your holiday table or buffet!
Course Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pkg frozen yeast rolls (25 oz)
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp dried dill weed
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red sweet pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place frozen rolls in a lightly greased 11x 15 inch Christmas tree shaped cake pan. Cover and let rise according to package directions in a draft-free place.
  • With a star-shaped cutter, cut stars from red and green peppers. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside.
  • When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake rolls until golden brown 12 to 14 minutes. While rolls are baking, melt butter in a small microwave. Stir in dill week and mix thoroughly.
  • Remove rolls from oven and immediately brush with dilled butter. Remove rolls to serving dish and place pepper stars on top of each roll. Serve warm. Makes 24 rolls. Enjoy!
