Gourmet Egg Salad

The secret to this recipe is the little bit of butter you put in it!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 hard boiled eggs, peeled
  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill weed or dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp onion salt
  • mayonnaise to taste
  • bread, buns or pitas

Instructions
 

  • On a flat plate, using a fork, mash eggs until there are no lumps. Place eggs into mixing bowl.
  • Add butter, salt and pepper, dill wee, onion salt, and mayonnaise to eggs and mix thoroughly until salad is blended. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve on plain bread, toast, fresh sandwich buns, or pitas. May also be served on lettuce leaf as part of a salad plate with tuna salad and potato salad. Makes 8 servings. Enjoy!
