Prepare jello according to package directions and refrigerate in mixing bowl until syrupy.
In a separate bowl, begin beating cream cheese with mixer until smooth. Then, slowly pour in warm Jello, letting it fully combine with the cream cheese. Blend well.
Next, place rest of ingredients evenly in bottom of 9x13 inch glass dish. Pour gelatin over all and cover with plastic wrap.
To serve, cut Jello into squares and place on lettuce leaf. A small dollop of sour cream or mayonnaise is a nice addition. Makes 12 servings. Enjoy!
