In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, place broth, onion, and garlic. Cook and stir about 5 minutes until vegetables are soft.
Add additional broth if necessary during cooking if it becomes too dry. Add the tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes. Add the beans, pepper, thyme, and basil. Simmer 10 more minutes.
Serve sauce over cooked ziti and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings. Enjoy!
